What is Academic Advising?
Academic advising is a partnership between you and your academic advisor. Your academic advisor is assigned to you by your major department. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences strongly encourages you to meet with your academic advisor prior to enrolling in classes every March and October. You can prepare for your advising appointment by using the resources listed below.

Who should visit the CLAS Advising Center?
The CLAS Advising Center is the advising home for Exploratory students, Bachelor of General Studies students, first- and second-year Criminal Justice students, and CLAS students on academic probation in tandem with their major advisors.

How can CLAS Student Services help me?
The CLAS Student Services Office provides administrative support for all students and academic programs in the college by maintaining student academic records and processing related forms, such as Graduation Applications for undergraduate CLAS students. Please consult with your academic advisor before submitting forms.
