The Robbins Scholarship

The IUSB College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to request applications for the J. Wesley & Roberta Robbins Scholarship. J. Wesley Robbins joined the IU South Bend faculty in 1967 and was co-founder of the Philosophy Department, in which he served for 36 years. Roberta Robbins is an alumna of the IU South Bend School of Business and Economics. She served for a number of years on the Alumni Board. The $500 scholarship is awarded for merit and may be applied toward tuition during the next academic year. The scholarship will be awarded to a junior or senior who has a record of academic excellence as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to students who exhibit an interest in the study of philosophy, as demonstrated by their course work and stated research interests. The online application is due March 1^st.
