Established in 1972, the Master of Public Affairs program at Indiana University South Bend provides training and education to public servants and those interested in a career of public service throughout Michiana. Our alumni can be found in the planning departments of local governments, running homeless shelters and community development programs, and implementing healthcare services for disadvantaged families. With your donation, we will be able to advance the public service tradition as we train the next generation of not for profit servants.
Most students within the program are non-traditional, mid-career public servants. They dedicate their day to improving the lives of others and spend time away from their family at night to pursue their degree. By supporting the MPA program fund, you will be helping to provide scholarships and general support that will enable students to further their education. You will also be helping to provide continuing education opportunities for MPA students and alumni alike. These opportunities include bringing guest speakers to IU South Bend whose experience and expertise can provide a positive impact upon the work of our public servants. A gift would also include funding for MPA students to attend conferences where they can hone their skill, learn new ideas, and network with other professionals in the field.
Please consider a gift to the IU South Bend Masters of Public Affairs Fund. Gifts can be made online through the Indiana University Foundation. Support can also be made by mail using the MPA Fund Card.
