Returning students previously accepted to General Studies
What if you are a returning IU South Bend student, previously accepted into the General Studies Degree program, and have been out of college for more than one year?
- You must complete and sign the Returning Student Form at an advising appointment. You can get this appointment by contacting the CLAS Advising Center and telling them you are a returning student previously in General Studies.
- During your scheduled advising appointment, talk over your plans with the advisor and they will sign your form at the end of your session.
- The form then needs to be signed by Paul Foltz, Student Services Recorder in DW3300b. It is then sent to the Registrar's Office for processing.
NOTE: It is best to prepare as much as possible prior to the advising appointment. You can find suggestions and guidelines on the CLAS Advising Center website.
As a returning General Studies major you do not need to attend the Information Session again.
